I’ve always had a lifelong interest in creating stories and a longtime interest in bringing those stories to life by writing them down for all to experience. Many of my works have been published over the years, including several poems, novels, and most recently a children’s book, which was inspired by my lovable pet sugar glider–Eek.

For the last 15 years, I have been an active contributor to a number of community newspapers and online publications. I’ve done everything from news briefs to one-on-one interviews, but my greatest love is feature writing. Fueled by such interests, I have decided to start this online informative site, hoping to showcase and profile hundreds of great places to explore throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including such destinations as Maryland, Pennsylvania (Eastern/South Central), Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, and the DC area
More About Me:
In addition to writing, I also have an active interest in gardening, with a focus on naturopathic studies. I also love animals and nature, enjoy birdwatching, and go on frequent outings around the region to explore new venues and learn as much as I can about everything. I am married and live with my husband and a menagerie of exotic pets, including my two sugar gliders, pet ducks, parrot, and even a (not so mini) mini pig.
