With Halloween just a day away, the official end of pumpkin season is now upon us. But at Country Barn Market’s Barnyard Kingdom in Lancaster, PA, you can enjoy one last hurrah this Saturday, November 2, at their Annual Pumpkin Demolition Day.
While most fall farms end their pumpkin patch/pumpkin picking operations abruptly after Halloween, Barnyard Kingdom’s Pumpkin Demolition Day delivers the ultimate seasonal sendoff celebration. Not only does it serve as a wonderful way to utilize leftover pumpkins, but it doubles as a fun, family-friendly activity to “clean up shop” around the farm, so to speak.
Pumpkin Demolition Day promises plenty of pumpkin pleasantries to enjoy on the farm. For starters, you have Pumpkin Cannons, Pumpkin Bowling, Pumpkin Shot Put, Pumpkin Smashing, and even a Pumpkin Eating Contest to look forward to.

In addition to Pumpkin Demolition Day, Barnyard Kingdom at Country Barn plays host to many other festival celebrations and seasonal events throughout the year. Spring events on the farm include Bunny Village Adventures and Egg Hunts, as well as beloved Breakfasts with the Easter Bunny events. Every year after Mother’s Day, they hold a special Strawberry Pick/Pet/Play event. Come August, and you can delight in their “Spud”-tacular Potato Dig.
